Gilliland Grabs Idaho Win In Wild Finish

• K&N Pro Series West Action At Meridian Speedway MERIDIAN, Idaho (Sept. 24, 2016) – Todd Gilliland grabbed the lead in a wild green-white-checkered finish to win the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West NAPA AUTO PARTS Idaho 208 at Meridian Speedway on Saturday. It marked the sixth win this season by the 16-year-old series rookie from Sherrills Ford, North Carolina – who drives the No. 16 NAPA AUTO PARTS Toyota Camry for Bill McAnally Racing. With the victory, Gilliland extended his lead in the championship standings to 25 points – with one race left to decide the title. He clinched the Rookie of the Year Award on Saturday, meanwhile. Gilliland was followed across the finish line by his BMR teammate Julia Landauer, who notched a career-best second-place finish in the series. Gilliland Scores Pair Of Runner-Up Finishes In Utah

• K&N Pro Series West Double Header On Road Course TOOELE, Utah (Sept. 11, 2016) – Todd Gilliland came away with a pair of runner-up finishes over the weekend as the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West held a double header on the Utah Motorsports Campus road course with back-to-back races on Saturday and Sunday. Gilliland led the field to the white flag on Sunday and appeared headed for the win in the Bill McAnally Racing No. 16 NAPA AUTO PARTS Toyota Camry, before contact from the second-place car send him off course. The 16-year-old rookie from Sherrills Ford, North Carolina made a quick recovery, however, to finish second.
