Holmes and Hayley Headed to Evergreen Speedway
Antelope, CA– The No. 20 NAPA AUTO PARTSToyota team with driver Eric Holmes is looking to record a fifth win for team owner Bill McAnally at Evergreen Speedway. The speedway located within the confines of Evergreen State Fairgrounds inMonroe,Washington, has been hosting automobile races since 1964.
The track nicknamed “The Superspeedway of the West” by NASCAR racing legend David Pearson is one of the short tracks the teams from BMR look forward to coming to. Eric Holmes has two top-five finishes and two pole awards at the 5/8-mile paved oval.
“In previous visits to Evergreen Speedway, tires have been a factor,” said Holmes. “It’s been about taking care of the equipment and being there at the end. This race will be no different; 150 laps of side-by-side racing.

Holmes is fifth is the 2012 NASCAR K&N West Series Championship chase with seven races left of the season.

The No. 24 NAPA Batteries/Cabinets by Hayley Toyota team with rookie driver Cameron Hayley are heading to a track closer to the young driver’s home in Calgary, Alberta. The team will take the green flag in the NAPA AUTO PARTS “150” presented by Gene Price Motorsports at Evergreen Speedway on July 14th. The speedway in located within the grounds of the Evergreen State Fairgrounds inMonroe,Washington.
“I am very excited to get back to a short track after the road course atSonoma,” said Hayley. “Short track racing is what I love the most and I’m really excited to see what I can do on Evergreen Speedway. It is completely new to me but so has almost every track this year so far. As always the team and I are excited to see what we can do and we will be there at the end.”
Hayley is leading in the Sunoco Rookie of the Year points is currently eighth in the chase for the championship and is tied with the seventh place driver.
Cameron Hayley was recently name one of the Next 9 of NASCAR. Hayley is one of nine drivers that are 21-and-under running in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series who represent the next wave of young talent set to make an impact on the national series scene.
